It’s been a pretty shitty start to 2012, Kurt Vile’s latest album has been a pretty good alternate to therapy, here’s hoping the rest of the year doesn’t play out how it’s promising to.

Kurt Vile :: Society Is My Friend
I keep a very small group of friends, friends that tend not to overlap into each others lives, and I enjoy not having a large amount of people in my life … Yet when I listen to this song I get to thinking about everyone, from people I know to my Tumblr peeps to all the strangers out there, and I kinda want to share moments with all of them.
I’m sat here now, headphones on, listening to this whilst looking out my bedroom window at all the houses, people walking through the streets, cars passing by, and I feel more content than I have in a very long time.
